OTC Markets : Announces Quarterly Index Performance and Rebalancing

OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM), operator of regulated financial markets for 12,000 U.S. and global securities, today announced the third quarter 2022 performance and quarterly rebalancing of the OTCQX® and OTCQB® indexes, including the OTCQX Canada Index and the OTCQX Dividend Index.

The OTCQX Composite Index (.OTCQX), a benchmark for the overall OTCQX Best Market, was down 6.9% in Q3 2022. 50 new companies joined the Index while 42 companies were removed. NetCapital Inc. (NCPL) moved to NASDAQ on 7/13/2022. Graphex Group Ltd. (GRFX) went to NYSE MKT on 8/17/2022. Alpine Summit Energy Partners, Inc. (ALPS) went to Nasdaq on 9/28/2022.

The OTCQX Billion+ Index (.OTCQXBIL), which tracks the performance of $1 billion-plus market cap OTCQX companies was down 6.6% in the third quarter. 5 new companies joined the Index while 5 companies were removed.

The OTCQX Dividend Index (.OTCQXDIV), which tracks dividend-paying U.S. and international OTCQX companies was down 7.1% in Q3 2022. 17 new companies joined the Index, while 20 companies were removed.

The OTCQX Banks Index (.OTCQXBK), comprised of OTCQX community and regional banks, is up slightly by 0.8% in the third quarter. Seven banks joined the index while 11 banks were removed. New Banks to the index include Bank of San Francisco (OTCQX: BSFO), Citba Financial Corp. (OTCQX: CBAF), Community Bancorp of Santa Maria (OTCQX: CYSM), Marquette National Corp. (OTCQX: MNAT), Peoples Financial Corp. (OTCQX: PFBX), Town Center Bank (IL) (OTCQX: TCNB) and US Metro Bancorp (OTCQX: USMT).

The OTCQX International Index (.OTCQXINT), a benchmark for international OTCQX companies was down 7.0% in Q3 2022. 53 new companies joined the Index while 27 companies were removed.

The OTCQX Canada Index (.OTCQXCAN), which tracks Canadian OTCQX companies was down 7.0% in Q3 2022. 26 new companies joined the Index while 25 companies were removed.

OTCQX U.S. Index (.OTCQXUS), a benchmark for U.S. OTCQX companies, was up 3.1% in the third quarter of 2022. 15 new companies joined the Index while 15 companies were removed.

OTCQX Cannabis Index (.OTCQXMJ), a benchmark for cannabis companies, was down 11.4% in Q3 2022. 8 new companies joined the Index while 10 companies were removed.

The OTCQB Venture Index (.OTCQB), which tracks the overall OTCQB Venture Market, was down 4.3% in Q3 2022. 102 companies were added to the index while 154 companies were removed. NeoVolta, Inc. (NEOV) went to NASDAQ on 7/28/2022. 1847 Holdings, LLC (EFSH) went to NYSE MKT on 8/3/2022. Intellinetics, Inc. (INLX) went to NYSE MKT on 9/9/2022. Know Labs, Inc. (KNW) went to NYSE MKT on 9/16/2022. Silo Pharma Inc. (SILO) went to NASDAQ on 9/27/2022.

All indexes are market capitalization-weighted and adjusted on a quarterly basis for additions and share changes over 5% during the months of March, June, September and December. In the case of ADRs, the DR ratio is considered. Dividends are re-invested as of the close of business the day before the ex-dividend date.
